Grants for research on Jaguar supercomputer

Faculty-led teams from four member institutions of Oak Ridge Associated Universities have been awarded $25,000 grants to do research at ORNL’s Jaguar supercomputer — the fastest machine in the world for open scientific uses.

“The grants . . . allow faculty and student teams the opportunity to participate in research at ORNL with the benefit of ORNL’s computing resources and staff,” ORAU said in info released to the news media. Each grant is good for $25,000 the first year, with the potential funding of up to two more years — for a total of $75,000 — provided by ORAU.
