Scheduling Policy
General Information
Jobs run in a first-in, first-out (FIFO) order. Backfilling smaller, shorter jobs to use those otherwise idle resources.
Computation Queue Limits
- The batch queue system places a limit of two computation jobs in the queue per user. If a user submits more than two jobs, the additional jobs will be rejected.
- Computation jobs are limited to a 6 hour walltime.
Analysis Queue Policies
- There is not a limit on the number of jobs a user may have in the analysis queue.
- The maximum wall time for analysis jobs is 12 hours.
- Access to the analysis queue is limited. To request access to the queue, contact the NCCS User Assistance Center
- Non-analysis jobs are not allowed in the debug queue.
