Schedule & Agenda

Agenda and Call for presentations

Please note that this page will most likely be changing up to the date of the conference. If you have a presentation listed, please review the entry and email Stan White at whitesr@ornl.gov for modifications.

We currently have one hour allocated for site presentations. These will be presented back to back. Each site is requested to proved 4 slides to include the following:

1) Site introduction – summarize who you are, what you do, and how HPSS fits in to this
2) HPSS configuration diagram – emphasize unique equipment/configurations, high-level stats (peak number of files/day, bytes/day, bytes/second)
3) Future plans for HPSS – problems you want and/or need to solve, technical challenges
4) Wish List – problems you have encountered with HPSS, new features you would like to see

You are welcome to provide a superset of slides that will be posted to the collaboration web site. The above is to limit the presentation time requirements. Plan 5 minutes to present the 4 slides.

Please email the site presentations in PPT format to whitesr@ornl.gov. These presentations should be submitted by February 24th, 2009.

Please email ALL presentations in advance so they can be preloaded and ready for the conference. All hand carried CD and USB media must be scanned before it may be used on ORNL computers. Please let us know if you intend to use your own computer for presentations. Power and networking is provided in the conference room.
