Computational Atomic and Molecular Physics for Advances in Astrophysics, Chemical Sciences, and Fusion Energy Sciences
PI: Michael Pindzola, Auburn University
This research team is applying state-of-the-art atomic and molecular collision codes to implement time-dependent simulations relevant for numerous applications, including ultrashort laser interactions with matter, plasma diagnostics in controlled fusion experiments, X-ray astronomy, synchrotron light sources, and free-electron lasers.
