SC07

Super Computing 2007

The NCCS will once again be a major player at the country’s premier supercomputing conference, touting the scientific breakthroughs being made on the center’s leadership-class systems and previewing petascale science.

SC07, the international conference for high-performance computing, networking, storage, and analysis, will be held November 10–16 at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Reno, Nevada. Make plans to tour NCCS’s booth—featuring all-electronic content focused on advanced networking, leadership computing and applications, and the many scientific applications that are enabled through high-performance computing at the center. Interactive kiosks and a large power wall will enable visitors to learn more about current activities in areas such as global energy solutions, supernova evolution, fusion plasma simulation, and atmospheric carbon-dioxide patterning.

Come by the ORNL booth (Booth 538) and hear from world leaders in computer and computational science, including
